03 T4R-Wheel Question

Did some of the Limited models come with the standard SR5 wheels? I thought they all came with the 18's, but the 03 Limited I just bought just has the regular wheels. I'm just wandering if these had been swapped out at some point, or if some came with them. Thanks!

Great info, thanks! I know most of the Limited's I've seen have had the 18's, so it just got me to wandering.

i might be wrong, but pretty sure the 18" wheels started on the 2006 Limited. they are a different wheel than what you have as well. you have the correct wheel for the year and model of your 4Runner.

Yes, in fact Taco, 3rd gen and 4th gen wheels all work as do 1st gen Tundra/Sequioa wheels and FJC wheels. The latter 2 are preffered by some as the widen the stance just a bit. :bigok: The same 17" restriction applies if you have big brakes.

Thanks a lot! I may look into the FJ wheels, but I won't be doing anything with them anytime soon (took all I had just to get the thing paid off).
