tried to start car other morning, starter did about half a turn, and battery was dead. eventually got battery charged, cells checked out fine but car just clicks. starter contacts?

maybe contacts, try hitting the solenoid on the starter a couple times then cranking, if that doesnt work hit the solenoid while you're cranking
also, check if your battery actually has the power to crank, if your alternator is bad jumping the battery was only temporary

Corroded terminals? Bad/loose wiring (especially check the ground wire)?

How did you test the battery?
