I have heard of X-REAS failing before 30k, so test drive the sport before you buy it.

And there are some folks with 70k, 80k, and 90k+ miles on theirs. Like all things, your experience may vary...

I've never heard of one failing . How long do they usually last ??

How do you know if one fails ?


Anyway , Id go with the sport model. I love the way they look and if all is mechanically sound ....done !

I think there's like two cases here, one at about 30k and another at 70 or 90k. If I recall, both said the shock was leaking fluid near the top.
