04 V8 Sport Hood Scoop Mod...with Pics!

I decided to do a little painting with the DupliColor Chrome paint on the dull black hood scoop on my 04 V8 Sport. Below are a few pics. Did about 6 coats of the DupliColor chrome and it takes a WHILE to dry. I waited 2 days and baked it in the sun and it was slightly tacky. Notice the underside of the scoop, there is one broken retainer that I broke on accident. ALSO...there are 3 rivets that hold the screen to the inner plastic piece....I broke them off using wire cutters. To put it all back together, I used Gorilla super glue and some self tapping #12 x 1/2 screws with the Gorilla glue to put it all back in place with thread lock on the 5 bolts that hold it to the hood. Below is my masterpiece.

.....if not, it's gonna be a *&#$ to get that out from the Gorilla grip!
