'04 X-REAS Lift?

In retrospect, I think you were smart to avoid XREAS -- although I do like it, and I can always lift the Tundra as much as I want; maybe even the Sequoia if I can talk to the wife into it -- ah, maybe not...

But, I thought Daystar does claim their lift works on the XREAS.

Btw, there are no "official" lift kits available for xreas. There are just members here that made the current lift kits that are out there fit on the xreas that's all.

This is the reason and only reason why I never bought a SPORTS trim since I knew XREAS was going to be a real big issue.

NO. I can pretty much guarantee that no company will touch the xreas system itself. The market is too small that it's not worth the R&D to make something that only applies to one vehicle model.

It sux and it's unfortunate but life must go on. Your best bet for all of ya xreas members are to just lift w/ spacers as spacers work. There is nothing wrong w/ spacer technology as I have seem many members (other vehicles) use the spacer technology and offroad like MAD with em.

They work well w/ the stock configuration so there is no need to worry. Also try to keep it under the 3" mark as over that you'll run into a few headaches later on.

I knew that when I was planning to get the 4runner, I was gonna offroad the hell out of it. I've taken my 4runner places that I've yet to see a 4th gen even attempt it... that was my goal when I got it. Drive it and enjoy the v8 power along w/ being able to take it in the backroads of the good 'ol USA and hit any trail w/o any worries A few dents here and there but all n all the 4runner keeps on truckin!

Our 4runners are wonderful in stock trim. It can go places where you would think it can't just because it's not lifted. Well you guys are in for a surprise as the stock 4runner can handle ALOT of trails that can be deceiving. Enjoy what ya guys drive because it's a gem!

Lift it alittle (2-3") and you have a great rig that can go places where most common rigs can't hehe

The part number for the 2003-2004 4R lift from Daystar is [2003-04 4-Runner 2-1/2" Complete Lift Front & Rear] KT09115.

The part the e-bay site lists KT09103 1996-04 Tundra, Tacoma 4-Runner (up to 02), Sequoia 2-1/2" Front Lift Only.

I was a bit suspisious about that... I don't think that the stock 4R is that low in the front. Plus what happens when you have a load in the back?! or towing a tongue heavy trailer?
