05 > 06-09 Headlight Conversion Empty bulb in housing question...

Hey guys so i am doing the 06 oem headlight conversion right now on my 05, everything went fine minus the fact that the 06 housings have an extra slot for some big bulb looks like parking lights, but it also has a small spot for the little bulb thats also on the 05 lights. Do i need extra bulbs or just plug that hole or? I read every headlight conversion thread and didnt see this mentioned anywhere.

The extra bulb is the '06 turn signal. You'll need the wiring harness ($28/side) if you want to use the bulb otherwise just tape it off or something to prevent moisture.

Correct you need a harness that has two sockets, I think I paid like $25 or $30 for both sides. Let me look around and try and find the receipt for ya

thanks guys that makes sense, i think i will just buy the bulbs and plug them in to keep the moisture out.

anyone have part #'s for harness?

What shape are your old headlights in?
