Tube running board only on sport edition. SR5 and Limited still have the same running board. Limited has lights.

Probably because it looks better. I didn't like the flat, block-style fenders. It would look right if the 4runner was a box style with sharp corners. However, the 4runner has curves and the flat, block-style fenders didn't compliment the vehicle.

hehe, you must own an 06 then...I own an 04, so I'm partial to the block style :D
 
I passed on 04/05 because I did'nt like the fenders look. Looked like Avalanche wheel wells to be , bought the 06 because of the cool flares made it look better to me.

Bottom line , both good trucks , to each his own taste.....:D

I have to agree. There is just something with the Titanium and the grey cladding... :cool:
