Trying to find a 06+ 4Runner with less than 40K miles under $21,000. Is this realistic?

Not really. I worked for the dealer and i got my 07 for the trade-in cost of 20,500. May be possible if its a 2wd base model. (But why would you want that?)

I found an 05 SR5 with 35K miles for 20,900 and was wondering if this is something i should jump on or not, but i really like the led tails and how the chrome completely encircles the grille on the 06+

Id wait to find an 06+. There are a few other little updates you wont get with the 05.

Not sure where you live, but I did a quick Autotrader search within 500 miles of the DC area, and it found 10. About half are 2WD, or slightly over 40K miles, but they're out there.
