07 4runner VSC questions

Driving to work this morning I noticed my 07 Sport had a traction control off switch. Pushed it and that turned the VSC off and locked the center diff. After futzing with it, I realized the center diff was locked the whole way to work (oops). Turned the center diff off while rolling in neutral and VSC on (switch depressed) in the parking lot and the whole system went back to normal.

Couple questions since I couldn’t seem to find the answer I was looking for in the hundreds of VSC threads. Seems to be a lot of threads on earlier models but not later models.

1. When I turn VSC off, is it possible to keep the center diff open or will it always default to locked?

2. I noticed the ABS didn’t turn off when I pushed the VSC button, what wire can I tap into to disable ABS as well? I purchased an ABS off switch from air on board that I’d like to use.

07 4Runners did not come with a traction control off switch from the factory. What does the switch you pressed look like? If it the one with the little X in the middle, that's the center differential lock switch. Pressing that locks the center diff and disables VSC.

Only 08 and 09's came with a trac off switch. It looks like a vehicle with skid marks and the word OFF.
