Hi guys....

A bit about my self. I am fairly new to 4runner community. I have been participating in a few different auto forums and was very active at time on Zcar.net forum when I owned my 74 240z. So I have recently purchased a 07 T4R Sport very good condition and I ordered bug deflector for the front. Just because it eats everything that it comes into contact with=) So I read the instructions and it required removing the front grill. So here is the problem the inner bolts that connect the grill together are rusted pretty bad. I have been to a local auto body also to a local Toyota dealer. Both of them was not able to locate these bolts in their parts database which is shocking because I am sure there is plenty of folks that have those bolts rusted in and out.

So long story short can't order the bolts separately without buying the whole grill and assembly which is like $250. Does anyone ever experience such thing and if so could you please elaborate on situation. I am almost certain that I can find these specific bolts or at least a very very similar ones, but don't feel like shredding the rusted ones if the new ones won't fin and be stuck without a grill=(

Sorry for wall of text and my first post with this great community any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

This is a good question. I just bought a 08 Limited, and while shopping last week, I noticed that all of the cars I was looking at (4th Gen) had terrible rust on the grill mounting bolts. Not sure that it's a critical issue, but I'd certainly like to swap them out for something less...encrusted.

You can get the bolts separately.
Bolts 90109-05092 $0.61
Nuts 90176-05008 $1.37

For some reason the part number doesn't show up the for the 2007 on partznet but if you look at the diagram at village Toyota the part numbers stay the same. There's another screw (93560-54012 Screw, Tapping) that seems to show up on the partznet listingin their diagrams but it's hard to tell if that's the one they mean since they won't show you the actual Toyota part numbers. From your description, I think you want the ones I linked to above.
