07 SR5 wheel alignment, scheduled oil change and discarding antifreeze questions.

1. Are 07 SR5 known to track well or do they tend to drift when all is mechanically checked OK.
Could this be new tires or road surface issuers since the slight pull is detected to the right/left but constant?

2. Is the 6 month oil change good for the engine if you d/n drive over 5,000 a year?

3. Where do you dispose of your old antifreeze?

I have an '07 Sport, but maybe I can help you out...

1. My Sport tracks really straight. It can drift sometimes when it's following the crown of the road - generally to the right while in the right lane of a two lane road or to the left while in the left lane of a two lane highway.

2. 6 month oil change would be good IMO

3. Our city's landfill has a recycle area for antifreeze/oil/brake fluid etc...

Thanks for the reply! I wonder if it's a matter of me getting use to s slightly larger SUV and larger tires (16"). I dove my 1993 Ford Explorer 15 years with 15” tires that tracked very good. Before then, I drove 2 Jeep Wagoneers (72 & 80) 20 years with 15” tires ? and they tracked good. The T4R frame appears much stronger with more steel but the body could be lighter with less steel. I do know it feels larger/heavier but the specs are close to my past SUV’s (due to fitting in the garage vs 2010/2011 too tight for the old garage.

I’ll hate to waste money on oil changes and I know little driving is not good for the SUV. My 3,000 a yr (the last 7) was not bad on the gas. I’ll have to volunteer and fish more and charge a little to supply the oil/gas cost. LOL.

I forgot to take the gallon of antifreeze to the Dealer since I purchased the new from a Dealer (used to maintain my wife’s 2001 Camry). I’m surprised the Auto Stores that sale Antifreeze w/n take the old as oil. Our City’s Mobil Hazardous Waste Pick-up is every 6 mo or yearly per area. jow
