08 4runner tires need help!

Hey everyone I have an 08 4runner and Im in the market for new tires 265/65/17. Currently I have the all terrain michelins, but i wanted to go with something more aggressive. I was looking at the BFG T/A K/O or the Mickey Thompson Baja Atz and really like the way they look but was told since there a 10 ply tire I would hate the ride. since I drive 90% on road and only 10% off road i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tire. Also i was wondering if i was able to go bigger in size without a lift kit or do i have to stick to the 265/65?

Michelin LTX A/T2s are a solid choice. I would go with those over the BFGs.

I have neither of those, so not sure if my response is worthy to you I have Hankook Dynapro ATMs. I really like them compared to what I had before (Continental Contitrac).
We get a considerable amount of snow and I have not had a single issue getting around. They are just a bit beefier then what I had before so a tad bit more road noise but nothing drastic.

I've heard great things about those as well and had planned on getting them, but a couple months ago, they were on national back order and nobody even had an estimate on when they could get them. The biggest Hankook dealer here in KC basically told me I was out of luck.

I ended up with the Terra Grapplers.

i love the ride & handling with my ATZ's
