+1.2 caster on 2.5/2 lift enough?

Ive gotten an alignment cheked a couple times. My tech says he can’t get more caster than that on an alignment and stay in spec.

It feels a little floaty in the Highway to me.

Was contemplating buying SPC UCA’s.

Advice?

I'd definitely recommend the SPC's. 1.2* of caster is just too low. There is a ton of adjustment built into the SPC's. I've been running my set for close to 85k.

I had the same problem after my lift. It was super sketchy on a road trip through the desert with high cross winds. I’m currently shopping for spc or maybe jba uca.

More caster will definitely help with the wandering/darting.

I ended up with 4.8* caster with the SPC UCAs, WAY better highway manners.
I didn't like it at 2.7* caster.

So I pulled the trigger..

already had my mind made up before I made this post.. 485 shipped is a pretty good deal for the SPC UCA's..

after researching for a night.. I decided against uniball tubular UCA's.. although cooler.. it didn't really accomplish what I needed..


hopefully this gets the truck driving and handling right..

So should I shoot for 3 degrees of caster or more?

3*ish is factory and it's a little numb for my tastes. I like a bit heavier steering with more (better?) on-center feel. I'm a little more comfortable close to 5* but it's a matter of opinion.
