$1,300 over invoice on "Rare" Limited?

Hey all,
I finally found a 07 T4R Limited V8 4X4 in Black with Stone interior. It's has everything including the Rear Air suspension and Xreas, Nav., Rear Spoiler, Sunroof except for the side curtain airbags and Rear DVD Entertainment. I believe it was a special order which arrived on Friday and the person that ordered it backed out of the deal. I've had everyone searching throughout cali. and this is the only limited I could find with Xreas (as well as color options). My dealer dealer-traded and brought the car over to his lot. So, I test drove it last night and was really impressed. Sticker is $44,149 and invoice is $39,443. Dealer wants $40,743 (that's $1,300 over invoice), I'm sure I can knock it down a little more, maybe about $900 over invoice. He got the car on hold for a couple days for me so I can make up my mind.
Would the $900 over invoice be a good deal?
Or should I just wait for the '08's in August (maybe the '08's will come with factory HID's and other better amenities).

1300 over invoice sounds high.

i got my 06 under invoice, forgot how much though.

Mole177, keep in mind that this is a one of a kind in California (and also in surrounding states) and to order one like this, it will take 3-4 months for delivery. However, if you insist that $900-$1300 is way too much, then I'll take your word for it. BTW What is your 06 T4r and what options does it have?

oh oh!! and DRL!!! (which was taken off by the time i left the lot.)

not too many v8 4x4 sports at the time of purchase in so cal.

if you want those options then you are already willing to pay abit more than most for the car. If you dont want to wait 4 months then I would say do it, of course try to talk them down more first. If you special order they will be even less likely to negotiate on the price. And that 1300 over invoice is only like 3% of the cost of the car just to put it in perspective. Of course i am not trying to get you to pay more or talk you into it, just giving you something to think about (you already probably thought about this stuff anyways).

LOL, sounds like you are selling the car to yourself!
Personally I would not pay over invoice on any T4R especially when they have been offering factory discounts for several months now.

OK. Now I'm rethinking the whole Xreas with Rear Air suspension thing for the Limited. Been reading up on posts here (thanks to you all) and other forums. Was planning for a 3/2 spacer lift but found out that with rear air suspension, it's not possible (however Jason B said it is possible with modifications to the spacer to fit the bottom of the coil, but would be a custom job). I figure saving the money from the rear air suspension and the Xreas and from the cost of spacers and custom installation, getting a 2-3 inch suspension lift would cost about the same with a better ride.
I did want the rear air suspension to pull an open trailer for 2 motorcycles or 2 jet skis (with equipment, etc.)... nothing too heavy. Anyone know if this would cause sag on the rear? Is an after market rear air level possible with a 2-3 inch suspension lift?

I am pulling a 6x12 enclosed trailer with 3-4 MX bikes and tools inside. With my OME lift it pulls like a champ compared to the stock suspenders and has very little to no sag. Hope that helps!

I dont know about the motorcycles, but the jetskis should be fine, I get zero sag with jet skis, and I forget they are back there, you wont even notice a difference. I have v6 sr5 (stock suspension, no xreas or air leveling, and a 2 inch front leveling spacer)
