$100 Cash Reward for Help With Tilt Wheel Adjustment - Really

I have a 2013 Limited 4wd that I just bought. So used to my Yukon and adjusting the steering wheel to perpendicular to the floorboard. All the way down and in.. I am 6'3 so raising the seat does not work. Tried everything. The 4Runner only adjust so far but there has to be a way to move more. No kidding. I will send $100 for a successful guide on doing so. I can use PayPal or send a $100 bill.

Just cannot get use to the angle of the wheel. Feels like driving a school bus... I just need to know what to get a tech to do.

I don't really need your reward, but the steering wheel adjustment is both telescopic and up/down adjustable. Have you tried the telescopic adjustment? It should be on the same control as the up/down at the bottom of the steering wheel but you might have to grasp firmly with both hands and push it in/out.

If it were me, and I really really HAD to have the steering come down further I would take it to a small shop, tell them your problems and have them take the lower dash apart and see if you could add spacers to the mount to bring down the wheel in it's lowest point. If I am thinking correctly it would also mean that at it's highest point it would be lower by however thick the spacer block ends up. You would also have a gap between the instrument cluster and the steering column. This is just a way. I am 6'4" and it took a few thousand miles to get used to it but that was 45K miles ago. Now its is natural.
