epoxy plate to housing and paint.....

blue tape to hold the plate in place where it needs to be till the epoxy dries. also keeps the epoxy from running down the face where there may be open areas from the cutting.

epoxy has dried and peeled the blue tape and preparing to paint in gunmetal metallic color.

Question. Are these headlights "for offroad use only"?

I'd be worried about their legality. Not trying to be a buzkill. I love what your doing here!

He has it hooked up to a dimmer that makes it legal for road use, pretty ingenious if you ask me, it's not bright at all when he has it dimmed and his fog lights in the bumper put out enough light to be driving on.

Agreed, no where near legal, but maybe won't blind people as bad. Chances of getting pulled over are pretty high.

Looks pretty good though.

I'm sorry but what the hell does it matter if it's legal or not? It's his truck. I'm just saying appreciate his taste in mod, or don't. I'm sure some people here have done more than enough illegal things with their trucks...cut some slack.

Not only is it illegal, it's dangerious. It's bad enough getting blinded by lifted GMC/Chevys with mis-aligned headlights or clapped out Altima's with half-assed HID kits.

But to each his own. I like everything else with the rig, just not the "headlights".

You said a dimmer made it legal, we're just pointing out that it's not. I think it looks great.

^ what he said we weren't bashing his truck, just correcting you.

I still like the idea though, I just would have to tow it if I were driving at night.

Also don't agree with using fog lights unless its actually foggy out... I have the same setup he does, but only turn them on when it is absolutely necessary. Fog lights with a reflector system spray light terribly and are just as blinding as a poorly done HID system. I hate all the guys with the F250's who run there fogs all the time and then on top of that put HID's into them...

what do you think of your SAW's? i have an older version of the 2.0's without the eibach springs and they ride a little stiff for slow rocky wheeling.

also, would you recommend the BR UCA's?

Honestly, they ride little stiff as well. Coarse i may have a max of 2000 miles on them. They have 600lb eibach springs. As far as the uppers, great and perfect aligning. Plus they work deals, just offer 550 cash out door and they will accept that im sure. Maybe sometime in near future, i may just sell the saw's and buy a set of icon with resi.

New Wheels!

decided to get new wheels.... was going for the SCS SR8 wheels but tired of waiting on a company to get the wheels back in stock is useless and glad i took my business elsewhere, so thanks Method Racing!
Removed roof rack and just waiting for Drabbits from Camelback Metal Gear to get my full length rack done.
