It's burning all the carbon and varnish deposits that build up over time. I'm doing it to my 03 SR5 tomorrow and going to flip out the neighbors. There is a fire dpt. near my house so let's hope they don't see the smoke and come over here thinking I set something on fire!

I did it to my 03 Highlander base and the out come was better MPG, felt more peppy, and idled a lot better, it had if I had to guess about 106-108k when I did it.

mine was just like that or maybe even a little more. i have 109k on mine now. gas milage went up and idles alot better now! id recommend it to anyone

I am not sure if that is too early or not. I didn't do mine, for the first time, till i was over 100K, but that was just because i had never heard of it.

no it isnt to early. i actually did it to a vehicle i just bought with 38,000 miles on it.

I did the seafoam treatment last week at 119k. I think my truck loves me now. I did mine in the dark so as to not alarm the neighbors. Best I could tell from my outside lights, there was aTON of smoke.

As another moron who has never heard of "Sea-foaming".... I have a recently acquired '03 4.7 with 89,xxx miles. Where do I get it, and what do I do with it (the seafoam)....? No side-effects to worry about?
