just bought it off amazon. its pretty straight forward. I just had to dremel the existing hole a little bigger and removed the old cigarette 12v. keep in mind green is hot and white/black is ground.
The reason i added this is cause i wanted the faster QC instead of the standard usb charge (plus i just put a memory stick in the USB spot for music).
for $14 (w/ coupon) it wasn't a bad mod.

This exact mod has been on my mind. I was thinking of just keeping the 12v usb lighter plug in and tweeking the plastic cover to trim it out, but this is better.
it took me less than five minutes for this mod. I figured, if i need a 12v outlet, there is one in the center console and two in the back. and one in the back back.
IGN wire at stereo?

I may also want to connect to an IGN wire, maybe in the cabin, for a Renogy DC/DC converter.
From this other thread, it looks like pin 15 on the radio 28 pin connector may be useful for this? Can't tell if it's on with Accessory mode or only Ignition.
