13 LTD Body Mount Chop ?

Been away too long. Moved to another city but prior to move...

Removed XREAS with ready lift
Installed 6112/5160 +Icon springs
Total Chaos UCA's

I set the circlips to #6 and #5 in the front thinking springs would settle but after a year of rake in the front its probably settled all that it will.

After the total chaos install and alignment my tires started rubbing. In the docs for total chaos it says body mount chop will be required. Not against doing that but had a question.

If I lift the 6112's up to #7 circlip setting and install the 1/4" top plate spacer that I have from toytec on the drivers side (for lean) would that be enough to correct the slight rub in reverse at wheel lock ? I've already done the fender liner mod and removed mud flaps. Caster is 3.8

I need to get new tires so I want to fix this before I put them on. Currently running 285/70/17 AT3 cooper which are a little less than 33" Going to go to a duratrac in same size. Weird thing is it didn't rub with the stock uca's and the lift kit.

Next Question.

What kind of shop should I be asking to do the cutting and welding of the body mount. I have the BMC kit from metal tech to weld back in after cutting the body mount. I have asked a couple of shops but no one seems to be willing to touch it. I don't mind cutting it myself but would rather just have them cut and weld at the shop. Maybe I am asking the wrong kind of shops and need to go to a welding business or something.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You don't need to weld the kit on because you don't need the kit. It is purely cosmetic IMO. The integrity of the body mount is not compromised by cutting the area beyond the actual mount, as that portion is there for wheel intrusion in a crash. That is why they don't want to be involved in cutting or welding it most likely. I cut mine with a sawzall and made sure to touch up the bare metal.
