13WL vs 13WG (Tundra Brake Upgrade)

Okay I haven't been able to dig up any threads but a few about this and they all appear to lead on to a dead end.

Basically ordered two separate calipers for the brake upgrade, as well as new Brembo rotors. Looked up on Raybestos website for the correct calipers (2006 Toyota Tundra) and it stated

Raybestos RC11550 -- 13WL
Professional Grade; Right; 5.3" Pad Plate Length; Ceramic

So one is for the left side, and a separate model for the right. Should I be worried about this prior to install that the left model is a 13WG and not a 13WL.

I have 16" Stock Wheels 5-Star.

Doesn't appear to be much of a difference to the 13WL (at all even) but haven't found any topics related to this topic. Any suggestions or should I just guinea-pig-it and report back?

I have read that thread.

I have found that shops don't distinguish between 13WL and 13WG, no one really seems to know the difference, and lots of people have gotten them mixed up. It is all about the brake line angle.

My primary question is, would it be faulty to have two different models on each side, I guess I'm just going to try and install it and see how it goes.

From what NelsonMD stated; the only difference was the angle of the brake line attachment. In theory if that's the only difference then I'm thinking you could mismatch. Personally I wouldn't since they are two different models. When it comes to brakes, I don't try to experiment and go with whats proven.

These are both the same series of one is the left and a right side. Just remember the that the bleeder screw has to be on top so that the air can be bleeded.

13WG is the original caliper that was updated and sold as the 13WL. They had issues with the WG, hence the supercession

Good to know, but I got them both installed flawlessly, everything ligned up. We'll see if I start to have issues with the WG down the road. :tape:

new to site have 95 4run will this work on 2nd gen

'm new to the site have a 95 4 run looking to replace front rotors and a friend said maybe tundra ft cal
was wondering if this works on a 95 and what year tundra rotors & calipers and if you need any other parts or what modifications are needed ?
