15 Minutes Oil Change?

I do the oil changes . 45 min for the oil to drain when hot. 15min you will have sludge issues . also they will put less new oil in . bad for your wallet good for future Dealership sales...

a 2011 vehicle gets no respect at the dealerships.

I used to change my own for years, but to old to crawl around under there, wishing I could still tho. There is nothing like doing it yourself to know it's done right. I do double check the work tho and emphasize the need for proper greasing in a convincing manner. Glad I only need to do it twice a year.

Thanks everyone for sharing your insights/opinions.

I normally do my car/truck maintenance (e.g. oil change), hence I have some doubts on the time it took to complete the oil change last night. But I guess Antman was good to point out the difference in logistics.

Getting cold up here in Canada so I opted for dealership to do the job.

I am also old guy . getting harder to crawl under and do this type stuff. however some times I help out family members with this simple task , so they save a few bucks .. after fixing all the lube jockey screw ups , its very disappointing that these professionals do unprofessional work.
