well hello again

a year ago, we bought a 2006 4 runner with 131,250 something miles on it. I posted a few posts, did a bunch of searches found info I needed and gave up being "accepted". I wanted information, not a social experience. I discovered I could search, find and read without posting. Now my 4 runner has 141,628 miles and coming up to it's 3rd oil change since we bought it. It has been amazing in every way imaginable. Again, DH asked a question and I found the answer on this forum. He wanted to use a larger oil filter this time. I forgot my user name and password, but my computer remembered. Again, did a search, and there the info was. I've been having too much fun traveling around towing a camper and loving my toyota to post much. I love this vehicle. it is everything we could ever want and then some. fenders are blistered, who cares. it is pretty perfect inside, everything works exactly as it should. I love it more than a person should love an intimate object.

do I need full posting privileges? nah, I have an amazing 4runner. I don't need any more than that. Now the day may come I need to actually ask a question, but we will see.

But some folks have spent a lot of time on this board soaking up info and not wanting to act like they know more than they do. Then, when they've gathered info and have a question about what to buy they can't because they're "post deficient". Like most things in life, to keep out the jerks, it makes things more difficult for everyone else.

I don't have a need to post yet but figured it doesn't hurt to chime in (and add a post).

I think the posting rule is good to keep out spam but i do believe 15 is excessive, maybe 5?

Anyways, Ill do my time with 15 posts and just be happy there is such a place to interact and soak up info.

#2...#3 soon enough.

Really want to ask some questions on my 4Runner -but I guess I have to do this first...

#3 and soon #4...

In fact, I think if I even tried to post a real question here, no one would answer me in this forum

#4 - Any one have installed the RCI skid and SSO Slimline...any fitment issues?...number 5 coming soon
