15" wheels

Trying to find out if anyone has successfully mounted up a set of 15" wheels on the there 4runner. I was looking at a set of MRW's. I can make the BS anything I want it so not too worried about rubbing just want to know if they would fit over the calipers and rotors.

What model 4Runner do you have? Because the 16's will not even fit on the Sport Editions.

I really do not think 15's will work out, but if they do I am very interested in how you made it work!

Yea I do have the sport edition. The 16" wheel not fitting is news to me. Anybody else have some details on that. I am going to be really bummed if I cant even get a set of 16" on

Calipers are just too big. The SR5 and Limiteds have smaller ones and are able to fit 17's.

I have not seen anyone who has put 16's on the SE.

Well If there is anyway anybody has got a set on 16" wheels on there SE I would really like to know how. I have my mind set on them now so i gotta make it work.

You would have to shave the caliper, but I have never looked too closely to see everything that would be involved. If it was a simple fix a lot of guys on here and toyota120 would have done it already.

I believe SR5 SE and Limited have the larger rotors and calipers. 13.3"

SR5 and FJC have the smaller rotors and calipers. 12.6"

Well I am just guessing but isnt the spindle and a-arm on all the 4th gens the same. If so than the rotor/caliper swap between the sr5 and the SE shouldnt be too hard? That is if the rest of the brake assembly such as the ABS and the booster are the same.

And it is just the FRONT rotors that are too big right?
