150k Service suggestions

My V8 SR5 AWD is in the shop getting front wheels bearings replaced along with CV joints, Bilstein 5100's. What other parts should be replaced at 150k while they are in there? I had timing chain and water pump replaced at 110k.

As long as it runs fine you shouldn't really have to replace anything else. I've got a little over 150k on my truck also and recently did front CV's and bearings. Both CV's had torn boots and one of the front bearings was howling, so I just went ahead and did both sides. I think one of the rear bearings is going out now too, I'm getting some noise.

Maybe think about fluids. Have diff and xfer case fluids ever been changed? How about transmission fluid?

FWIW, timing chain probably doesn't need to be done until 200k at a minimum. The water pump is driven off the serpentine belt and can be replaced separately if it starts to weep. Mine started leaking around 100k so I replaced it. I probably won't even think about doing the timing chain until well after 200k.

does anyone know if timing belts are limited by mileage only? my 04 has 28k on it but its now pushing 10 years. is age an issue for these belts?

the one thing i miss about my subaru: timing chain.

You could have the shop double check the upper and lower ball joints and upper and lower control arm bushings and tie rod ends, but really no need to replace any of these unless they are worn and have play.

V8 has a timing belt and should be changed at 90k. 200k would be pushing it. V6 has chain.

My bad, I thought the OP had a V6
