Would that scare you off from a 2007 1 owner with perfect records?

Not sure about the price, but 157k is nothing it seems, but all depends on how it was maintained. ask for records, if its a V8 ask for when the belt was done. if the belt was not done, expect to pay 1k to get it done. factor that in.
check brakes. transmission fluid, power steering fluid. brake fluid etc.
Timing belt done at 102k
Boots replaced recently
If 4wd V8 with no rust, it seems like a really good deal. Even with some rust, it is still a decent deal.

I would agree. If maintence was all done and documented and it is a very clean rig I would say go for it. IMO it would be like buying a Chevy, Ford or Dodge with 70k. Good luck finding that for 10k.
This is the truck, if anyone with knowledge wants to do some extra due diligence before I trek up to look at it...Use the mileage for leverage on price and buy it.
got mine with less miles in CA for less then 10K OTD

Shouldn't I be concerned about the suspension and differential?
Unless they get water in them or run low on oil, differentials pretty much last a lifetime. You should change the gear oil when you get it if it hasn't been done in the last 50K miles, but otherwise not much to worry about there.
Since it's a Sport, it has the XREAS suspension, which will probably need to be replaced/upgraded soon - the shocks have limited life and at 156K they're probably almost done. A direct replacement by a Toyota dealer will cost upwards of $2500. However, most people just put on Bilstein 5100's and deactivate the XREAS, which will run about $450 for the parts and a few $100 in labor if you don't do it yourself, and will allow you to set the front ride height to suit yourself (0-2.5" lift). You can re-use your OEM coils unless you want new springs for some reason.
CV boots may also need attention - check to see if they're leaking. Again, a wide range in cost to repair, depending on how you go about it. Lot's of info on this board about alternatives.
That same vehicle here in Colorado would go for at least $14K on an "as-is" basis, so the price is good from my standpoint. Colorado is a hot market - in the time it took you to post this thread and get any responses, that vehicle would have sold 3 times over at that price and all this talk would be meaningless. I literally had 10 minutes to make up my mind on my '06, because there was another guy standing in line waiting to buy it if I waffled.
