17" Tacoma wheels for winter set

(tried to hang this on an old thread but it drifted into oblivion...)

I scored a really good deal on the same 17x7.5 tacoma take-offs and I want to make a winter set with some 265/70R17 Nokians.

Will the extra width and backspacing cause interference on my 2011 4Runner?

I want to avoid using a spacer if I can.

I mounted one up and the edge of the rim sits about an inch away from the knuckle. These wheels do sit a bit more inboard than the stock 20s.

Weren't those also the 4th gen limited wheels? If so, should be fine.

No rubbing? What size tires did you go for?

Stock rims off a 2012 tacoma with 265/70/17 and no rubbing... I think that's the stock tire size it came with anyways..

Everything fits just fine. Tight but no clearance issues. Loving the Hakkas on the ice and snow up here. They were a real bugger to balance.

They look good. I have the same set for my 5th gen. How does the 4runner handle on the road?

I have those also, but not a fan. The clear coat is chipping away. I might try to find a cheap pair of steels for the winter. 20s in the summer...17s in the winter.
