18 Limited Fog Bulb Access

All,

So I attempted the passenger side first. I freaked out. I have seen all of the videos and am aware of the shroud. Once I removed all the screws, I did not feel comfy removing the wheel wall. Why did they make this so difficult?

Any advice.

Made another attempt today. Guess what? There is also a shroud on the driver side as well. I could not get my hand through it to change the bulb. What a pain.

Hi rushrunner,

I changed mine on a 2012 Limited from up top, but I think the later models require lying on the ground to gain access!

I totally felt your pain two weeks ago. Went from the stock bulbs to Diode Dynamics H11's. Fought so much for the first 30 min that I thought they wouldn't fit....just had to get the angle just right and in they went. Not the easiest design to work with, but I would admit, the bulbs are well protected...glad I had a few drinks too!
