The first time I saw tyrone was about 2 years ago. I was searching on google images for big 4runners and I stopped and went "sweet jesus I want mine to look like that". Never saw it again until the voting started. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I hope somebody nominates The Pumpkin next time :naughty:

What a beaut! I'm gonna need to replace rear quarters and paint eventually too. I'm a sucker for the decals and I found this the other day.

wow this was a great build, very motivating to work on my 89 4runner.. just got an all pro front bumper, tactical armor group rear bumper, and general grabber red label 33's. Your build is tempting me to go the solid front axle route but my buddy is telling me he can get me fox shocks cheap so i think Im gonna stick with the IFS esp. since I just got brand new cv axles. please let us know of any future mods or expeditions with Tyrone, I know this thread is a bit old but I'm curious to hear of what has happened to the beast. opcorn:
