1987 4Runner FS $7000 OBO Long Beach, Ca.

Its time for me to part with my rig. I hate to do it, but I cant justify owning it anymore. Id like it to go to a good home, so I'm posting it here. I posted $7k on CL to avoid lowballers and creepy CL-types, but I'd really just like to see it go to a good home. If it sweetens the deal, I can have it professionally painted flat black before you take delivery.

I bought this truck a little over a year ago and it already had the lift, so I dont know what brand it is. I have spent the last year fixing the odds and ends it needed. I use it as my daily driver and it has been very reliable. I get about 20mpg combined and I cruise the highway at 70mph no problems. Heres what I've done in the past year:

Rebuilt the transmission and transfer case
Replaced the tires with Yokohama Geolandars (33x12.5)
Replaced the front axles
Replaced the windshield
Tuned up the motor and replaced the catalytic converter

is it SAS'd? does it have lockers? what type of lift? its a funny posting, i got a laugh out of it, but $7k from a ifs rig with no real body armor and no lockers is probably not gonna happen. at least wire up those lights and fix the a/c lol

No on the SAS and lockers. I bought it with the lift so I have no clue what type it is.
What would be a better price? I put $7k down on CL to avoid the typical CL jackass that wants to trade his bicycle and a handjob for my truck. I bought it last year for $5k and put over $3k into just parts and whatnot.

I mean its really clean and all but its missing some of the stuff most people look for in a first Gen.
Maybe you Can list what you've done to it so far? I mean for every price there is a buyer.

I can dig it. I really just picked a number and figured you guys would educate me. I can take criticism so I'm not offended by your advice. I'll edit the post and price.

Sadly if you had to put 3K in to it, you probably overpaid. In the car game spending money on it is a losing proposition. Unless, someone REALLY wants what you put in to it. I hate to say it but you'll probably be doing well to get back your 5K. I'd keep the price closer to 6 and allow for some bargaining. :cry2:
