1987 4runner misfire

hi, i have a 1987 4runner 22r sr5 my battery shorted against the frame fixed that ran fine for about an hour turned it of and started it back up later on in the day now its misfiring help please

So with the battery shorting out, your trouble is probably in the electrical somewhere. I would start by replacing/upgrading every ground strap you can find. Google the "big three" upgrade.
