1987 t4r 22re problems

Basicly my t4r will start and idle fine, but when you put it in gear, it barely has enough power to turn the tires. I'm stumped on it. At first I thought it was a fuel issue but replaced the strainer and filter with no success. Then thought about a possible spark problem, so replaced the plugs, wires, cap rotor button, checked the coil pack and the distributor pick up. All good and firing on all 4 cylinders. Checked the compression and 120lbs on all 4. Didn't check it with a light but the timing seems ok. Only other thing I can think of is making sure the cat isn't coming apart and clogging the exhaust. Any input is appreciated.

Did you check the fuel pressure? Could be bad fuel pump. Did it sit for ages - sounds like new to you? If so drain and replace the gas. Add bottle of Chevron Techron FI cleaner to clean injectors. Check air filter? check integrity of ruber hose from air cleaner to throttle body - if holed it won't run. Get a Chiltons book for $15 they have decent checklist.
