1988 4Runner SR-5 Nothern New Jersey $4250

1988 4Runner SR-5 V6, 5 Speed, 182,800 mi. newer clutch. Runs great, quiet, no smoke. Rebuilt front end: upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends. New shocks all around. New master cylinder and brakes all around. New power steering pump, fuel filter, emergency brake cable. Tires are 32x11.5x15s BF Goodrich All Terrain KO's in excellent condition. The truck has most available options as it is an SR-5: Chrome package, sunroof, pw, pdl, tilt, p mirrors, cruise, alloy wheels, gray interior, original am-fm cass, tilt/altimeter guage, etc, The interior is in excellent condition. the frame was stripped primed with rustoleum and top coated with Eastwood frame paint. A bikini top is included. All power options including the rear window work, except for a/c.The truck is complete and unmolested, not 4 wheeled or abused. 95% of this truck is in original paint. The tailgate has been repainted. both fenders have some rust as do the quarter panels. The rust however is not extensive, it is repairable, the floors and frame are rust free. Sorry for not updating but the truck did sell. Not quite as much as my asking price, but I sold it over Craigslist. A guy drove up from Northern Virginia to buy it. He drove that distance when he looked up the Vin and found that it was a California truck up until about 14 years ago. The frame was really clean. Up till that point, the only action I got on it was genius' offering me $1000 for it, or guys wanting to reminice about the Runner that they had back in the day........ Since I sold it I can fund my '85 build, so all is good. New owner was planning to do a 3.4 swap

Thanks for the update. Being based in Long Island, NY, it's pretty difficult finding a truck in decent condition ( w/ 4 cylinder and Standard ). Been glued to my computer for a month now...

Don't give up the search Scott. I found the '85 ad when I was looking for power window switches for the '88! I'm glad to have a 4cyl again too
