1990 3.0V6 will not start, have replaced Coil, Cap and Rotor, weak or no Spark. Have checked the Fuseable link from Battery to fuse box, trimmed the corroded area away, NO CHANGE.
Have run out of Ideas, need help! Not eady to Put out to Pasture only 269K+ miles so has a lifetime of Service Left for this Family.

I'm assuming the motor is turning, just not starting since you replaced the cap and rotor?

Since you have a few miles on your motor have you checked your plugs and wires? When was your last tune up? Most of the time issues can be solved by simple tune-ups. Check the sticky on the top of the forum for the FSM.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY TO IGNITION COIL
AND IG11lITER
1. Turn ignition switch to ON.
2. Check that there is battery voltage at
ignition coil positive (+) terminal

CHECK RESISTANCE OF IGNITION COIL

Resistance: Cold Hot
Primary 0.36 – 0.55 ohm 0.45 – 0.65 ohm
Secondary 9.0 – 15.4 kohm 11.4 – 18.1 kohm

CHECK RESISTANCE OF SIGNAL
GENERATOR (PICKUP COIL)

Resistance: Cold Hot
G1 and G(–) 125 – 200 ohm 160 – 235 ohm
G2 and G(–)125 – 200 ohm 160 – 235 ohm
NE and G(–)155 – 250 ohm 190 – 290 ohm

CHECK AIR GAP OF DISTRIBUTOR

Air gap: 0.2 – 0.5 mm (0.008 – 0.020 In.)

CHECK IGT SIGNAL FROM ECM

You might check or replace the EFI relay. They are about $12 at the dealer and are a common failure item. Having said that, it is worth checking the common basics(fuel, battery, electrics, etc..) that some have mentioned here.
