Hey...
I checked for codes the other day and got a 22 (Water Temperature Sensor (THW) Signal.)
The CEL doesn't come on when driving.
Anybody have any idea what thats about? Or, what I should do/replace to fix this?
Thanks very much!

Mt CEL came on today and I had an error code 71 (EGR error). No error 22 this time. I looked under the hood and I had a vacuum hose come off. I replaced it, cleared codes and no issues now. I guess the error 22 was a one time thing.

In case Code 22 comes back.

OK It turns out the error code 22 was the coolant temperature sensor. I replaced the sensor, but when I pulled the connection off, I noticed the tab was broken. It fit snugly onto the new sensor, so I didn't look into getting the connection thing fixed and I've had no issues with it since (like 2 months ago).
The error 71 was simply that I replaced the vacuum hoses with hoses from AutoZone or somewhere that were too big. I went to the Toyota Dealer and got the specified size hoses and there hasn't been any problems with the CEL coming on at all. Hoses at the dealer are cheap. It's worth it to get the right ones and do the job only 1 time.
