My 1994 4runner 2nd gen SR5 died driving down highway and will not start now
Check engine light not on before died
No codes from obd
Timing belt not broke
Broke fuel inject line have gas
Have spark at output coil
Obd works when unplug air flow sensor on intake get codes
If truck sets overnight on first time start try it tries to fire but doesn't any try start after that engine just turns
What can my problem be?!?

Check your air cleaner intake hose for any dry rotting/cracks. If any air gets in through a crack - dead engine will result.

Thanks but intake tubes looks to be in good shape
Could this have anything to do with EFI control?
It is like the engine has no gas. It turns but no fire. Coil pack seems to have good spark and at plug there is spark even though not as good as at coil.

If you think it's fuel, shoot some carb cleaner or something into the intake and see if the motor catches.

Have you checked for compression?

Thanks kid
Starting fluid in intake no go
How do I check compression with out tester

Probably not a fuel problem, then. That leaves air, spark, timing, and compression :). You can't check compression without a tester, but just about any auto parts store will loan you one.

Make sure your compression is in spec, and you'd better physically check the timing, too - the belt may still be there, but they can slip.

Thanks again
This is what I found
When squirting starter fluid in must not have gotten intake tube back on fast enough
Good spark
Good compression
In time

When changing fuel filter I turned engine on - I believed the pump should come on - no flow -should the pump come on with just key on?
When engine turns 2-3times less than cup flows out
Have power on diagnostic plug terminal Fp (fuel pump power after relays) when engine turning over not when engine on
Must be fuel pump?

Which brings me to next question - how do you remove tank and get to fuel pump?

Pop up the passenger side back seat and remove the access panel. Give AC to the diagnostic plug and see if you can hear the pump turn on. You can undo the lines and unplug everything from there. You should be able to remove the pump there, too. You won't need to remove the whole tank to get the fuel pump out.

Have you checked the fuses under the hood? Did it rough idle then die, or just up and die? I've had an issue like this before, so BEFORE you decide to remove the fuel pump, check and see if a fuse is blown. It should be a 10 or 15 under the hood.
