help guys

I have 1995 3.0 auto 2x4 4runner that is getting strong blue spark and fuel pressure at the rail but will not start.

i have swapped the following parts with known working parts (have identical 4runners)

ECU
all related relays (including the ones behind the glove box)
igniter
coil
checked ALL fuses and connections

injectors are getting pulse (checked with noid light)

I AM STUMPED

Back story. the housing that holds the fan broke and it threw the belts and fan. Got it all replaced and now it wont run. when the fan let go in traffic it slowly lost power and died and has yet to restart (even with fluid).

the timing belt was not damaged and did not move.

i have read several forums with similar stories but the OP never returned to share what was wrong (hate that)

You have spark and fuel, what about air? A thrown fan could have jacked your intake boot, or clipped the harness sending signal from the AFM.

You need air, spark, and fuel, in the right ratio. If that's good, you need compression and timing. One of those five things is missing or wrong.

My first thought was the MAF signal, too.

If it wouldn't start using 'fluid' (I assume you mean ether or similar) then I would be looking at a spark or timing issue. Do you have spark on all cylinders? Is the engine cranking at full speed? Is the battery fully charged?
