1995 Classic 4Runner Issue

I am a new comer to T4R.org and would like to say HELLO!!! :music:
and to also see if I can get some answers to this annoying problem I can't seem to fix. I'm currently having a problem with the front window (passenger side)....it will not go up or down when I depress the button on the Driver side or Passenger side. I got a master switch/panel for the Driver side from the junkyard, hooked it up and was able to roll the window down using the master switch/panel and the passenger side switch but could not roll it back up. In order to get it back up, a nice gentleman at the junkyard was nice enough to, I think it is called "Jump Start" it by hooking some wires to the wires located on the Passenger side control switch. The motor doesn't appear to be an issue because the movement of the window down and up was smooth.

I am at my wits end and have no idea what the problem could be. I might also add that 4months ago I had major work done on this vehicle to get it running again (ie., V6 engine, battery, timing belt, cylinder head gasket, fuel pump, power steering high pressure hose). All items were replaced. Might this have anything to do with the window not going up or down now?

Any insight on what the problem could be and a possible fix, is greatly appreciated.

Yours truly,

Ps. Forgot to mention that I returned the Driver's side door master switch/panel to the junkyard because it only allowed me to let the window down. Hopefully this post is not confusing

Had the same problem with mine. I replaced the passenger side switch with one from a junkyard and it has worked perfect ever since. Most likely just a bad switch!

Had same problem with my rear passenger side, but was an idiot and wasted 25 dollars on after market switch.

Is that right...hmmm...well I'm going back to the junkyard and get the master switch and the switch for that side of the door and see what happens. thank you for that info fo' runnin' ....
