Hi, I have searched high and low and cannot find an answer to this, how do I reprogram my Toyota key fobs back to my alarm? My wife's 4runner has beeen stood for 6 months with the batteries disconnected, as we live in the Middle East. On returning home this week, I charged up the batteries, all in good condition - but now both key fobs will not disarm the alarm. Everything seems to be working fine, doors all unlocking on the key, horn, wipers, lights etc - but because the alarm will not disarm, the immobiliser is still active so I cannot start the engine.
I do not have a valet switch as I have seen in some forum posts, neither can I find a reset button on an ECU.
It is a UK 1995 3.0 TD - totally standard.
Any help would be much appreciated guys,. thanks in advance.
