1996-2002 4Runner OEM Repair & Wiring Manuals

Just though I'd make an announcement that after much searching on interweb and t4r.org, yotatech, etc., I've found the 3rd gen 4Runner repair and wiring manuals! As of today (1/5/2014 at 17:58) the links work.

So hopefully, this will help a few people out, I know it has helped me a lot.

I downloaded mine from TTORA and printed it out. All 25** pages of it.

Make sure there's the 25** pages. There's one out there that isn't complete.

Cool. It is actually only for 2002 model but much of the stuff probably overlaps.

But there are several pretty significant differences between a 97 and 2002.

I've come across several posts that say "why don't you just look at the FSM? deadlink" very frustrating

I think I'm gonna look into an analog copy somewhere. Paper doesn't disappear so easily.

The tacomasite link still works for me. Too bad it isn't like the original ncttora link that you could actually download as a pdf. I have it now so it's local. Don't have to worry about the interweb screwing with me. I also bought the manual in paper form from Helms.

Tell me about it. Hundreds of them have my name on them. Since the takedowns started, I've attached the pages for specific posts, rather than linking them. Hopefully that will prove to be a little more permanent.

Although I don't use the "why don't you just look at the FSM?" formula.

ive got the gen 2 in pdf on my other laptop that crashed lol...didnt get the gen 3 in time. the ncttora site helped me tons.

I'd be more than happy to as well but it's been out of stock for months at least.
