Memory's, I remember when I was 16 and got my 02. (3 years ago? Lol) Anyways I've ran 2.5" daystar spacers all around and love mine. Since you're not going to be crawling too much in a 2wd (too hard at least) I say daystars are just fine for a lift. I have ran them with stock, ( yes I said stock) springs all around. Up front I am running KYB monomax shocks, with the daystar spacers. In the rear I am running Procomp es9000 shocks, Air Lift 1000 air bags and the (again) daystar spacers.
I somehow have 3" of lift up front with my combo and about 3.5" in the rear. (Not including my body lift. )
Anyways welcome to the forum, nice to see another 2wd out there being built. I too own a 2wd ( Doing a solid axle swap soon though)
A spacer lift is just suspension. Your body won't move.
If you are talking about a body lift with spacers (only way to lift the body) then the rear bumper is fixed to the body but the front you will need to raise with either custom or bought brackets because that is mounted to the chassis.
Also check out my build. (Another 2wd build)
