1996 4runner help

Hey guys i have a 1996 4runner SR5 i got it spring break of my senior high school year (graduated 2013) I paid 2000 for it it has 130k miles and it has a few mods
1" toytec body lift
Thrush welded muffler
Red led dash conversion
Cobra CB with firestick antenna
After market marine headunit with boss speakers (budget stereo the head unit was free)
deckplate mod
EFI relay kill switch
plasti dipped bumpers, grill, and rims
fog-lights
and i took the headliner carpet and most of the plastic trim off and bedlined the floor. i kept the door panels, dash and center console on however. the thing is i bought a 2010 x runner a week ago im waiting for delivery it should get to carmax in 4 days. now i don't know what to do with the 4runner Ive used it off-road before mostly mudding and it did pretty good considering it still has stock suspension and wrangler RTS 265 70's. i still want to do some offroading every now and then but i wouldn't want to pay two tags and two cars under my insurance so im considering trading it for an ATV something like a Honda 400ex or Yamaha raptor i just want to know what you guys suggest i do should i trade or sale or keep it and if i sale what would be the value for this truck in its current condition.

yea I know I regret it but it is what it is im just waiting for the x runner to get here so I can post it up on CL for trades or 2000 would that be a fair price?
 
1996 4runner time capsule

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out a value on my 1996 green 4runner sr5. It is a 5,000 mile time capsule. Never seen the rain, still looks and smells new. Zero rust - even the exhaust has no rust.

I had an NX4500 installed and viper remote. Clean install and original radio included. Otherwise bone stock.

Love the truck (reminded me of my first 4runner) so I bought it and just never use it. Should be in a museum.

Wow...nice find, but hard to put a real value on that 1996 4Runner. I'd recommend checking the VIN to see if it had the recall on the headgasket and also the rear springs on some were recalled. Otherwise, a fabulous truck that should not be kept in the garage but taken out for some great adventures in the wild.

Was that the one on eBay a few months ago? Seller from Oregon I believe, price was originally in the $30K range then re-listed for like $25K

Yes that's the one. It is in ridiculous condition. ZERO corrosion - literally totally new. I trucked it from Oregon to CT. When I registered it in CT we have to ass emissions. The shop put it in the lift and literally called every mechanic in town to come look at it. They couldn't believe it. A total time capsule. I thought I would use the tuck but don't have the heart lol to get it dirty. It really should be in a museum. I have about 30K into it but looking to get a firm 25K to ket it go. Almost like an adoption lol. Going to have to interview the owner.

Wish I had some $ to spare LOL. Try Bring A Trailer, you'll probably get a lot more for it there.
 
that thing is amazing, I expected to click the link and think someone rolled back the odometer, but the condition alone verifies the mileage, I'd be too afraid to drive it if it were mine
 
Ha that's how I feel lol. It's so ridiculous. Pictures don't even do it justice. I'll probably load it onto bring a trailer. For now she's safe at home in my garage.
 
hahaha same ... unfortunately, house isn't big enough. I appreciate all the input gentlemen! If any of you know of someone that would cherish this baby point them in my direction otherwise I'll get it up on bring a trailer in the near future.
