I paid 10k less than that for a 99 4x4 v6 5sp 108k w/ elocker and tall coils. I did get a decent deal and got a couple offers to buy it off after I brought it home, but no 10k offers. I say BS. But good for you if you pulled it off. Guess I should list mine for about the same and see huh...

I've seen '01-02s with less than 50k go for under $15k so that is a bit much for a '97 but there might be somebody who really wants one in that great of shape and will pay it but a little research would save people alot of money.

Sorry to say guys but I think this really has been sold. Im on SFBay Area Craigslist everyday looking for a 3rd gen and I havent seen him post this up on Craigslist since about the beginning of last week. I still dont believe the outrageous price and wont believe it until I see it..

I've got the original invoice for my 4Runner.

My 4Runner was $18,596. After accessories, taxes, fees, and delivery, $21,492, brand new on March 14th, 1999... with 24 whole miles on it.

Sooooo... a brand new 1999 4Runner was 3k more than your asking price...

$5500 on March 30th, 2008, may not have been a 4X4 or anything, but damn brother!

My 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230 isn't worth 18k!

You could roll an 07 C230, 98 Corvette, 99 Hummer H1, 1974 Stingray, 07 FJ, 07 Acura TL, MK4 Supra, or 3 3rd Gen 4Runners with 18k!
