1997 Land Cruiser Detail

Had this customer come and ask for an exterior only detail because hes selling it. We kept getting pushed back because of the weather but we finally had a nice sunny day. This thing was as expected for a 97 and for a used land cruiser. Interior looks like it rolled off the showroom, just normal wear and tear but in great overall condition. The exterior was on par with the FJ i detailed not too long ago. He vinyl wrapped the hood and part of the fenders as well. Heres the process and before and after pics.

PC w/ 3" pads for the tight areas
Wipe down
Sonax PNS
Adams Brilliant Glaze on paint/windows

I've become way lazy
I now only do 845 in the spring
and then do a wipe-on-walk away topper from Zaino/Optimum

the PNS is easy to apply. I literally spray the applicator and do a small 2x2 area at a time because you need to immediately follow it up with a towel to wipe off. Sometimes its harder to remove than others depending on how long you leave it on. But its best to immediately remove it.

I love the product, works great and leaves a good shine. My only "con" of PNS is the lacking of "slickness". It doesnt feel like a fresh wax feels, but the hydrophobic properties outweigh the feeling of slickness for me.

I never went to see it but have seen it driving around locally a number of times. I guess he put cloth seats in it or something and removed the leather interior (stated for "weight reduction reasons"). Anyways, curious what you thought of it seeing it first hand?

Or what made the most impact? The cutting wheel with the compound cut???

this one was in great condition. I would have bought it myself if i had the cash.
