I actually looked at this one weekend before this past one. Guy owns a car rental place that's attached to an auto/tire shop. Has mounting and wiring for a front plow, he said he did it for this past winter's snow.
Claims new brakes, new gaskets, fixed the heat etc. Inside the interior needs love. Missing lid from the center console, seat adjustment buttons, dirty headliner, missing knobs.
Good news is the rear window rolls up and down, the moon roof works, the windows, though slow, work. Trans shifts fairly well, except when I put it in 4L with the rear locked. Each shift was harsh, not sure if that's normal. Suspension looks to be original, and feels like it's been on for almost 200k, LBJs look original, and there was a strange shudder feel when decelerating (not braking) that I couldn't pinpoint. It also needs an alignment. Body was in decent shape, some dings, a large-ish dent in the front fender near the p/s door. Rear gate looks like it was hit at some point and repaired, tape residue on the d/s rear taillight and a hyper blink from the left turn signal.
Rear diff showed signs of leakage, though not terrible. Rust underneath was typical for a NJ vehicle of that age. Front skid plate had a lot of oil residue on it. I assume from when the gaskets were changed, and the guy just didn't clean it. Maybe something more.
