Just to clarify guys it was driven in the winter a few times. She had a Subaru she would take unless the snow was really flying. This explains the surface rust. So my mistake. Probably has to do with her husband's czechoslovakian accent lol. Very nice couple anyway. It is 4WD. So let's hear some positives so I don't feel like I over paid so much! Lol. Live and learn as said earlier. Won't be lifting as soon as I wanted but in going to start with removing the flares boards and doing a tundra brake conversion. Timing belt in the near future? 80k?

DOn't need to do timing belt and water pump until 110-120k IMO. Lower ball joints would be on my list, antenna whip mod? Andymod?

That seems like a deal to me. My 2002 had more miles and I paid more. Mint condition, but I still think I overpaid.

Change the TB and water pump soon if it has never been done. Buy yourself an Ebay timing kit for under $300 with everything.

If you go EBAY get the OEM Toyota parts kit.

Glad to hear it all worked out and the mileage was fine.

I'd also change the radiator since it is SOOOO old. Sure its low on miles but the coolant has still be sitting there for 15+ years.

True, or at the very least separate it from the Tranny with a new external tranny cooler. That's what I did until I get a chance to replace the rad.
