Won't be surprised if it hits its original msrp. I already think higher mile clean ones are cheap enough to be in reach of idiots, so a high mile one should fetch something big.

You mean not high mileage? I don't understand your comment. There are a number of reasons why people pay for these but really even the nicest 3rd gen 4runners are a very nominal amount of money.

yeah I don't get it. It's already going for 14k without diff locks and a none limited model (I guess that's not that big of a deal), but mileage really doesn't affect these cars, so 30k miles or 230k miles.. lol isn't an issue for me. I'd rather pay 3k for one with 230 miles and spend 11k bringing it up to spec, imagine how much restoration you can do with 11k! or the mods you can do!!

I wouldn't even be interested. I feel like a car sitting around only doing 1200 miles/year is going to have more issues than a car that's done 12k a year. Vehicles don't really like to sit idle for long periods of time.
