1999 clock replacement

I just replaced the clock on my T4R with a part I bought off here. It was a pretty easy fix and it works great now. I made a little video but can't post here.
Next up will be the AC/heat component or the auto antenna swap with a standard. So who has a AC/heat unit for the dash?

Holy crap! Used is usually around $15 & repaired for around $30. I got my replacement for free from a friend at the scrap yard. He has 15 of them, grabs them every time he goes.

I've had my runner for about a month, a functional clock is on the list of things to fix. Just curious how you were able to post a thread with less than 15 post count? I just joined a week ago after watching for a while. When I tried to do a new thread I got a popup that said I needed 15 posts before being allowed to make a new thread.

I don't know. Got lucky I guess. Yea, I saw one on here for $25 and snapped it up. Keeping the old one to see if I can solder stuff to make it work.

Now for that ac/heater electronic part. Muahahahaaa

The clocks are VERY EASY to repair. Quite a few DIYs on here on how. I've fixed quite a few of them for my CC customers trying to only take the dash apart once, but learned how on this site.

I "fixed" mine and it worked for a week and gave out. I broke down and bought one off eBay. I wish it were brighter.

heat/air unit

Check ebay for repair guy on heat/air unit. seller name of mandigital you send it in, referbs it and returns it. Just sent mine in will get back this week.. All new parts and same head/face. will correct the issues of non response, slow response, and like mine that had its own mind.. Only bad part is you have to send yours in and do without the unit for a week or so.. but not bad for $70 vs. $250-300
