1999 Rear Hatch Relay/ECU Diagram?

Helping a friend diagnose some odd rear hatch issues. Rear light is stuck on and the remote unlock doesn't work sometimes. He repaired the cracked wires on the rear hatch wire harness but could be the relay instead. I haven't opened up a 1999 in a while and I can't remember where it is. Could someone share the pages from the FSM relating to the rear hatch diagram or lock and window system? Any wiring diagrams would help too if possible.

The common 2002 manual that's found online is an updated system and is not applicable to 96-00 years.

Just popping in to say thank you for helping out the new guy (me). 2 partially broken hatch wires were found and 1 more about to go. All 3 repaired but the intermittent electrical issues persisted. When the 3rd brake light is being lit nothing works with the remote. I know it's that hatch wiring causing the problem because I can open/close the hatch a few times and make the 3rd brake light turn off then the factory remote unlock works again.

Like you said a wiring diagram would be immensely helpful. Thanks ahead.

I have a 2000 FSM that should be close on most things, but I'm not sure how close.
