1999 Toyota 4runner front lift

So I have a 1999 t4r and Im wanting to lift it about 3inches. I bought the LC coils to lift the rear. Now I'm wondering what is the best/cheapest way to get the front lifted. Also once it's lifted what size tires I should run with the stock rims. Thanks.

The cheapest way to lift it would to get coil spacers, they'll run you about $120-$150. I really don't recommend those because of the many complaints I've heard about the ride that they give. But I personally have not tried them. I would recommend any OME front coils and the Bilstein adjustable shocks.

I have adjustable bilstein 5100's up front and absolutely love the ride. Worth the money IMO.

I was thinking about getting the bilsteins but then heard about the tundra coils. In your opinion, which would be better? And if I went with the tundra coils, would the lift be even in the front and back?

I'm running full Tundra Struts from a 2002 TRD Access Cab 4X4. I personally love the ride, and was a cheap setup considering I bought the assemblies used from an Autowrecker. I searched for a low mileage set, and swapped out my top plates onto the tundra setup so it would bolt up to the my front end.

The lift will NOT sit level, as the front will be lower than the back by at least an inch and a half. (depending on what LC coils you have,) That being said, I like the raked look, it looks more aggressive to me, and is nice when towing, as the back doesn't sag lower than the front....

ok. Bilsteins would be the struts that the Tundra coils are mounted on. the other common option is Old Man Emu (usually shortened to OME) coils on the same company's Nitrocharger strut.

these would be toyota stock bilstein struts from a newer tacoma or fj cruiser.

you could, if you wanted to, run an OME coil on a bilstein shock and vice versa a tundra trd coil on a OME nitrocharger.

On the toytec website it says "OME 883 and 882 coils only work with the OME nitrocharger shocks" . Is that true or can i run OME 883 with bilstein 5100 shocks?
