Help! Trying to find a transfer shifter knob for 1999 4runner with 4wheel drive engage button.
I recently replaced the rubber bushings for the auto shift assembly that are common for this generation. But I think while removing the transfer shifter knob i twisted it and may have damaged the wire inside the button. Now when pressing the 4 wheel drive button to engage the 4 wheel drive it's not working.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have several issues with my 4 runner i'm trying to button up and now i just added another one.
Newbie to this Forum, recently acquired my fathers used 1999 Limited 4Runner.
